Crowds of people crowded to watch the filming of "King Kong 2" in Ninh Binh

On February 27, the "Kong: Skull Island" film crew recorded the first shots in Ninh Binh province. According to the plan, the crew will officially start shooting the movie still known as "King Kong 2" in the locality until March 15.

The crew will film at Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex in Ninh Xuan Commune, Hoa Lu District. Right at this Complex, the crew will film at many different locations. Dozens of container trucks carrying equipment have been gathered in advance, the atmosphere of preparation for filming is carried out urgently and professionally. The weather is favorable for the work of the film crew.

At the main gate of the studio, there were about 20 cars of various types such as trucks carrying equipment, 115 ambulances, medical staff vehicles, security patrol cars... At around 8am, the actors arrived at the studio. Director Jordan Vogt-Robert happily took souvenir photos with fans... From the gathering place, the group took a motorboat to the Ngu Lan Palace area, then continued to take a small boat through Dai cave to enter the filming area inside.

Following the film crew into the inner area, where the first shots were prepared, we felt a very professional working atmosphere. Although being reinforced by many different types of watercraft such as canoes, motorboats, and small rowboats, tons of equipment were moved into this area very smoothly.

In the inner area, the film crew and equipment were gathered at a location built with mobile materials, but firmly surrounded by water and mountains. Looking out about 1km, on a wide, flat land with undulating grass and trees, where the first scenes would be filmed, we could only see a few people walking around as if they were practicing for the scene that would be shot at 10am.

The fact that the Hollywood film crew chose Ninh Binh as one of the filming locations for the blockbuster movie is an important cultural event for the locality. According to the plan, the Kong: Skull Island film crew will film at the following locations: Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex (in Ninh Xuan Commune, Hoa Lu District), Van Long Eco-tourism Area (Gia Vien District) and Tam Coc - Bich Dong Tourist Area (Ninh Hai Commune, Hoa Lu District) of Ninh Binh Province.

After filming at Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, the film crew will film at Van Long Eco-tourism Area, considered the largest wetland nature reserve in the Northern Delta, and Tam Coc-Bich Dong Tourist Area in Ninh Hai Commune, Hoa Lu District on March 15. After that, the film crew will leave Ninh Binh to film at Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh)./.
