Nghe An Border Guard rewards 11 officers and soldiers who were sent to the border to fight the epidemic and returned home

On April 2, the Border Guard Command of Nghe An province organized a handover and commendation ceremony for officers of the Provincial Military Command who completed the task of managing, protecting the border and preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic on the border and returned to their units.

After nearly 1 year of being mobilized to reinforce the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard, 65 officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command have overcome all difficulties, proactively coordinated with the Border Guard and local forces to effectively carry out the tasks of border management, protection and prevention of the Covid-19 pandemic, contributing to good control of the epidemic and leaving good impressions on local Party committees and authorities.

Colonel Ho Huu Thang - Deputy Commander of Nghe An Border Guard presented certificates of merit from Nghe An Border Guard to 11 individuals of Nghe An Provincial Military Command for performing epidemic prevention tasks.

From May 2021 to March 31, 2022, officers and soldiers coordinated to detect and handle 211 cases/411 subjects of illegal entry, administratively fined nearly 1.4 billion VND; detected and handled 7 cases/14 subjects of illegal entry, administratively fined 6 million VND; detected and handled 18 cases/33 subjects of illegal exit, administratively fined 87 million VND.

At the conference, the Party Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard Command acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the spirit of performing the tasks of the officers of the Provincial Military Command in the past time. On this occasion, the Provincial Border Guard Command awarded Certificates of Merit to 11 officers and soldiers who had made outstanding achievements in performing the task of epidemic prevention and control at the border. The Nghe An Border Guard Command also proposed that the Provincial People's Committee award Certificates of Merit to 3 individuals with outstanding achievements in epidemic prevention and control.
