Nghe An's beaches are bustling during the tourist season

(Baonghean) - With 82 km of coastline and many famous beautiful beaches, Nghe An is one of the top provinces with rich potential for sea tourism in the country. Welcoming the 2017 sea tourism season, many localities and travel agencies have taken positive steps, promising many attractive activities.

Actively "renew"

Located about 10km east of Cau Giat town (Quynh Luu), Quynh Nghia beach has recently emerged as an attractive beach tourism destination. Coming to Quynh Nghia this time, there is a bustling atmosphere of renovation, construction, environmental sanitation... Mr. To Duy Hien - Chairman of Quynh Nghia Commune People's Committee said that since the beginning of March, the commune has directed associations and organizations to mobilize forces to collect garbage along the beach, hang banners, slogans, and groups of billboards...

In addition, the electricity system from the commune center to the beach is maintained and repaired, some roads are repaired to ensure traffic safety, creating convenience for businesses and tourists during the peak season. In particular, to leave an impression and build the brand of delicious seafood from Quynh Nghia, food hygiene is given top priority.

According to the plan, the opening ceremony of Quynh beach tourism 2017 will be held from April 26 to 28, at Rubystar Beach Quynh Resort (Quynh Nghia), the opening day is approaching, so all preparations are being carried out very urgently. Quynh beach is not actually the name of a beach but a common noun to refer to 7 beaches of 7 communes of Quynh Luu district including: Quynh Phuong, Quynh Lien, Quynh Bang, Quynh Luong, Quynh Minh, Quynh Nghia and Tien Thuy.

The Quynh beach brand is increasingly spreading, in 2016 there were over 130,000 visitors coming to visit and relax with an estimated revenue of 180 billion VND, 3 times higher than in 2011. Starting the "open sea" season in 2017, in addition to the invested and built entertainment areas, the coastal communes have planned sports programs such as beach volleyball, football, tug of war, stick pushing, cultural exchanges, organizing trade booths and introducing some typical products...

The focus of Nghe An sea tourism is Cua Lo beach, which has been voted many times by domestic and international tourism organizations as one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam. In 2016, despite many objective impacts from the environmental incident in the Central region, Cua Lo sea tourism still welcomed more than 1.6 million visitors, of which 4,521 were international visitors; revenue reached 1,420 billion VND. Before the 2017 sea tourism season, Cua Lo had some encouraging signs such as the Vinpearl Cua Hoi resort hotel project was basically completed, nearly 200 hotel rooms have been booked until the end of June 2017; along with that, 15 beach villas and a conference center are ready to go into operation in April 2017. In addition, the resort villa project of Golden City Company invested in building a 5-star hotel with a scale of 21 floors. The 18-hole golf course project is still in progress; the Hong Thai SIT project has been acquired by Bao Khanh Hamico Company and the investor is also implementing items such as internal roads, completing villas...

This year, the Cua Lo Sea Tourism Festival taking place on the night of April 29 at Binh Minh Square will have many attractive activities such as art performances, fireworks... Mr. Vo Van Tho - Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Cua Lo town said that the Cua Lo sea tourism program has been designed to be vibrant, with highlights lasting from April to July 2017 such as the program Connecting Hands to the Sea (June); Street Music Festival (weekly from June - July); Activities to celebrate the 110th Anniversary of Cua Lo Tourism (June 5, 2017); National Beach Sepak Takraw Competition (June - July); National "Hoi Cau Cau Nhung Dong Song" Art Program (July); Trade Fair; Sculpture Creation Camp; Launching the 2017 Cua Lo Tourism Promotion Press Contest...

Tour and route connection

To make the 2017 sea tourism season successful, from very early on, localities with rich sea tourism potential have proactively connected with travel agencies to build tours and routes. Since mid-2016, Cua Lo town has coordinated with the Provincial Tourism Promotion Information Center to survey the Cua Lo - Deo Ngang - Vung Chua route (Yen Island - Quang Binh); coordinated with Vietravel to survey the Cua Lo - Vinh City - Nam Dan - Pu Mat - Yen Thanh route; established and exploited 16 routes that received positive feedback from tourists and the number of participants is increasing such as: Cua Lo - Ngu Island, Cua Lo - Vinh - Kim Lien, Cua Lo - Lac Xao (Laos), Cua Lo - Phuket and Udon Thani (Thailand)...

Tourism linkage activities to "attract" visitors to the coastal town have received attention. Up to now, Cua Lo town has connected with 43 travel agencies to introduce and welcome visitors, notably 5 travel agencies: Thuan An Travel Service Joint Stock Company - Ascend travel, Thang Long International Travel Company Limited, PhucGroup - Nghe An Tourism Investment Company Limited, Vietnam International Travel Joint Stock Company, Goldentour & Convention.

In addition, tourist transportation activities are increasingly convenient and improve quality. In addition to connecting with the airport, bus station, and train station transfer systems, the town currently has 8 companies participating in transportation, providing regular and safe services, meeting the travel needs of people and tourists such as Van Minh Tourism Company, Phuc Loi, Binh Em Company, Hieu Linh Company, 4-wheel electric car service, Ngoc Anh bus...

Although developing later than Cua Lo beach tourism, but with many other coastal areas of Nghe An, tour and route connection activities are starting to be implemented and have had encouraging developments. Many travel businesses said that recently, the number of visitors from the South and the North contacting to learn about Quynh beach tourism has increased compared to before, especially Quynh Nghia beach. Although tourism services in Quynh Nghia are not really vibrant and professional, there are currently only about 7 accommodation facilities with more than 50 bedrooms, 20 restaurants serving seafood, but for many tourists from all over, this beach has its own appeal - the appeal comes from the wildness, simplicity and sincerity of the land and people of the coastal area.

Ms. Vo Thi Thu Hoai - Director of Vietravel Vinh branch said that visitors to Quynh Nghia beach have many options for accommodation services and forms of tourism. Depending on conditions, visitors can choose to rest at Ruby Star beach Quynh Resost resort, with 16 separate bungalows meeting 4-star standards or mid-range motels and hotels. Quynh Nghia beach tourism has its own unique features. In addition to swimming, campfires, camping, visitors can take a boat to explore Dragon Mountain cave, admire Hon Ong, Hon Ba, Hon Nap Am, Vung Ao Tien...

Sea tourism is an advantage, bringing the main revenue to Nghe An tourism industry. Based on the success of sea tourism seasons in previous years, 2017 promises to be a prosperous year, contributing to affirming Nghe An tourism brand on the national tourism map.
