(Baonghean.vn) - On October 13-14, a working delegation of the Nghe An Border Guard Command led by Colonel Le Nhu Cuong - Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard inspected combat readiness and border security at the border post of My Ly Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard).

The delegation marched on foot from Pha Khao village, Mai Son commune, Tuong Duong district for a whole day through forests, streams, and extremely steep and dangerous terrain to inspect the Nhot Lot border protection post. The post is responsible for ensuring security and order in the border area and protecting forest products in the protective forest section from marker 389 to marker 392 of the Vietnam - Laos border.

Here, the Political Commissar of Nghe An Border Guard visited and encouraged officers and soldiers of the border protection forces of Nghe An Border Guard and the border guard force of Company 217, Military Command of Hua Phan province, Lao PDR.

He reminded officers and soldiers at the checkpoint to continue to overcome difficulties, raise vigilance against plots and sabotage activities of bad elements, and complete the task of ensuring security and order in the border area.

At the same time, strengthen information exchange and communication with border protection forces of neighboring countries, propagate and mobilize people on both sides of the Vietnam - Laos border to comply with the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of each side's State, and build a peaceful, friendly, cooperative border for mutual development.

Sharing the difficulties of the forces on duty at the outpost area, the Nghe An Border Guard Command donated 5 million VND; departments under the Provincial Border Guard Command donated 5 million VND; Colonel Le Nhu Cuong - Political Commissar of Nghe An Border Guard personally donated 2 million VND; the Volunteer Student Association and the Hanoi Youth Union donated 1 million VND to officers and soldiers on duty at the outpost.

On this occasion, the Nghe An Border Guard Command also presented 2 million VND to Pha Chieng village, My Ly commune, Ky Son district and 2 million VND to Pung Vai village, Pha Danh village cluster, Muong Quan district, Hua Phan province, Laos; presented 1 million VND to the border protection force of Company 217 - Military Command of Hua Phan province, Lao PDR.
