(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 18, a delegation of the Provincial Military Command led by Colonel Tran Van Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command inspected the preparations for the 2019 Military Handover Ceremony in Vinh City.

This year, Vinh City was assigned a target of 153 young men to join the military service. Of these, 143 young men were assigned to 5 units: Regiment 3 of Division 324; Provincial Border Guard; Information Brigade 80; Brigade 283; Regiment 764 of the Provincial Military Command and 10 young men joined the police service.

To prepare for the military handover ceremony taking place on the morning of February 21, the Vinh City Military Command has determined the venue at the Provincial Labor Culture House; assigned specialized staff to coordinate in preparing the system of signs, banners, slogans, and loudspeakers arranged according to regulations; completed the records and list of citizens joining the army and performing their duty to join the People's Public Security, and the minutes of handover to the military receiving unit according to the correct form.

Speaking at the meeting, the Commander of the Provincial Military Command emphasized: Vinh City was chosen by the province as the venue for the military handover ceremony, so all work must be carefully prepared from plans to ensure security and order to the organization and logistics of the military handover ceremony, ensuring the quality and quantity as required.

At the same time, it is necessary to grasp the ideological situation of the recruited youth to promptly coordinate with organizations to mobilize and handle any situations that may arise. In particular, localities need to pay attention to implementing the military rear policy well, reviewing the family circumstances of each recruited youth to have timely support policies for difficult cases so that the youth can feel secure when joining the army and fulfilling their sacred duty to the Fatherland.
