Through the actual inspection of the medical examination and recruitment work in Do Luong and Nghi Loc districts, Colonel Tran Van Hung requested that in the coming time, the military service councils of the districts continue to coordinate with departments, branches and organizations to strengthen leadership and direction in the selection and calling of citizens to join the army in 2019 in accordance with the new regulations in Circular No. 148/2018 of the Ministry of National Defense, effective from November 20, 2018.

Directing the medical examination to ensure sufficient quotas, classifying citizens' health according to the standards prescribed in Circular 16 of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of National Defense; strictly reviewing and approving citizens preparing to join the army according to the standards; reviewing young people eligible for exemption or temporary deferment according to the law, publicly, democratically, and fairly; strictly punishing cases of evading military service, and at the same time implementing good policies for the army's rear, especially taking care of families of young people recruited to join the army who are in difficult circumstances.

Continue to do a good job of propaganda and education to raise awareness among the people, especially young people of military service age, to clearly understand the responsibilities, obligations and rights of citizens in the task of building and defending the Fatherland.
