Nghe An Provincial Military Command offers flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh

Offering a basket of fresh flowers to the soul of President Ho Chi Minh, the beloved leader of the Party and people of Vietnam, the beloved Father of the armed forces, the Delegation attending the Congress expressed deep gratitude and reported to Uncle Ho the outstanding achievements that the cadres and soldiers of Nghe An's armed forces have strived to achieve during the past term.

During the past term, the Provincial Military Party Committee has proactively advised and led the construction of a strong national defense, consolidated and strengthened the position and potential in the defense area. It promptly mobilized 366,346 officers, soldiers, militia and self-defense forces and 707 vehicles to participate in forest fire prevention, storm and flood control, search and rescue with high spirit and responsibility.

In particular, in early 2020, facing the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, Party committees and commanders at all levels proactively advised local Party committees and authorities to develop and implement plans and organize 25 points, receiving and caring for 8,015 Vietnamese citizens from countries with the epidemic who returned to the province for quarantine in accordance with regulations; which was recognized and highly appreciated by Party committees, authorities and people.

In addition, the Provincial Military Party Committee has led and directed agencies and units to focus on implementing the task of building a strong unit in all aspects of military, politics, logistics, and technology, in which building a strong unit in politics is the basis. Thoroughly grasp and effectively implement Directive No. 05 of the Politburo (term XII) in conjunction with carrying out patriotic emulation campaigns and movements at the central and local levels with many good and effective models and practices. Typical examples include:“I love my Fatherland - giving the national flag to fishermen at sea”, “Solidarity and love between Catholics and non-Catholics”, “Helping poor commune Nam Giai, Que Phong district build new rural areas”...Through the movements, many typical and advanced collectives and individuals have emerged, creating a great influence in agencies and units.
