On March 3, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command announced that the unit had just successfully completed the task of practicing transitioning to combat readiness. The practice took place over 3 days, from March 1-3. Colonel Tran Van Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command and Lieutenant Colonel Thai Duc Hanh - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command co-chaired and commanded the practice unit.
Monitoring, directing and inspecting the training process of the Provincial Military Command were Colonel Nguyen Phuong Hoa - Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 4 and a working delegation of Military Region agencies.

Implementing the 2019 training plan approved by the Military Region, the Provincial Military Command conducted training on principles, characteristics, and actions of agencies, squads, and localities in combat readiness states.
At the same time, the Provincial Military Command also organized practices such as closely coordinating with forces to grasp the situation in the province, grasp the enemy's sabotage plots and tricks; organize command meetings, and deploy tasks for affiliated agencies and units.
Held a conference of the Provincial Military Party Committee to lead the transition of the Armed Forces from a state of regular combat readiness to a state of high combat readiness and a state of full combat readiness; advised the Party Committee and government to transition the locality into a state of national defense emergency and a state of wartime.

However, to improve the quality of training on combat readiness transition in the coming time, the Provincial Military Command needs to focus on firmly grasping the following key issues:
First isthoroughly grasp and apply new directives of the Ministry of National Defense and Military Regions regarding combat readiness tasks, logistics and technical support tasks, etc.
The second isIt is necessary to continue to grasp the characteristics, functions and tasks of local military agencies that play an important role in advising local Party committees and authorities on combat readiness in particular and in defensive combat practices in general.
Third isPay attention to ensuring the assignment of responsible cadres, the content and methods of political education, ensuring accommodation, ensuring weapons and equipment, training content... specifically when expanding the militia and self-defense forces in combat readiness states.
The fourth isFocus on close coordination with the main forces of the Ministry, Military Regions and militia and self-defense forces in the localities in the process of performing the task of transitioning to combat readiness and defensive combat tasks.
