Those"Seeds of creativity"

Through his efforts and dedication, engineer Tang Xuan Tuan - Chairman of the Trade Union of Viet-Australia Nghe An Co., Ltd. - has become a shining example of innovation and efficiency in the agricultural sector. Having been with the Viet-Australia Group for nearly 10 years, he has demonstrated the capabilities of a skilled engineer, always staying close to production realities to find groundbreaking solutions.

Possesses experience managing two production farms, each spanning 600 square meters.²With 36 reservoirs, Mr. Tuan has dedicated his time to researching and successfully developing a process for raising clean, antibiotic-free whiteleg shrimp larvae. This initiative not only improves the quality of the larvae but also contributes to environmental protection, bringing sustainable benefits to the entire industry.

Mr. Tuan's efforts have been proven by impressive figures. In 2021, thanks to the application of new research, the survival rate of shrimp larvae reached 50%, equivalent to harvesting 25 million larvae from an initial 50 million post-larvae. Then, in 2022, this number increased to 65%, yielding nearly 40 million larvae. Currently, Mr. Tuan continues to develop and expects the survival rate to reach 70%. Notably, Mr. Tuan has introduced an effective cost-saving solution, requiring only 0.8 million Nau shrimp eggs instead of 1.2 million as before, while still yielding 8-9 million larvae per production farm.

At TH Milk Joint Stock Company, the name Thai Binh Duong has become familiar in the innovation and improvement movement. As the Head of the Improvement Department, Thai Binh Duong has contributed to integrating technology into every stage of production, optimizing processes, saving costs, and improving product quality.

From programming promotional tag insertion machines and automatic spoon dispensing machines to more complex projects like programming robotic systems for picking up milk pouches, Mr. Duong has consistently demonstrated exceptional expertise. In particular, his innovative PID control programming to replace servo valves has completely solved the problem of inaccurate milk dispensing, saving a significant amount of raw materials. He has also successfully automated the nut milk grinding process, significantly reducing labor and time.

His contributions extend beyond small projects. Many of his initiatives have brought enormous benefits to the company. A prime example is the "Automatic Robot System for Loading Milk Cartons into Bins," which generated over 11 billion VND in profit in its first year. Another example is the "Replacing Servo Valves," resulting in savings of 2.8 billion VND annually. For his outstanding achievements, Mr. Thai Binh Duong has received numerous prestigious awards and commendations.

"Incubator" of the movement

Over the past five years (2020-2025), the province's socio-economic situation has developed strongly, with an increasing number of newly established businesses. By 2025, there will be 14,647 operating businesses, including 146 FDI enterprises. Consequently, the number and quality of workers and employees in the province have increased rapidly. In light of this situation, the direction and organization of emulation movements have been crucial.Labor UnionThe province has paid special attention to this. In particular, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Union has issued the Regulations on Awards of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Union; issued the Regulations on the "Nghe An Workers Following Uncle Ho's Teachings" Award; issued guidelines on awarding thematic prizes; and issued guiding documents for all levels of trade unions to implement...

From 2020 to 2025, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Union effectively maintained 5 emulation clusters. Simultaneously, it regularly reviewed and strengthened the Emulation and Commendation Council; developed regulations for the Council's operation; and established emulation goals and targets for each level of the Trade Union. Annually, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Union launched emulation movements based on specific themes and key points of the year. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Union consistently paid attention to and objectively evaluated the preliminary and final reviews of these emulation movements.

Thanks to active implementation and enthusiastic participation, the emulation movements have yielded many positive results. The "Excellent Worker - Creative Worker" emulation movement continues to be the central emulation movement of trade unions at all levels throughout the province.

With the goal of "Productivity - Quality - Efficiency," the movement has produced many exemplary initiatives and models, demonstrating high adaptability to the new context and promptly meeting the production and work requirements of agencies, units, and businesses.

Many initiatives by workers have been recognized and highly appreciated for their creative value, long-term benefits, and economic value of tens of billions of VND for their units and businesses. The fields of management, administration, public service, education and training, and healthcare all have numerous outstanding units and individuals in initiatives, creativity, and innovation.

There were 92,018 initiatives and scientific research projects at all levels applied to production and work, generating hundreds of billions of dong in benefits for agencies, units, and businesses; the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded the Creative Labor Certificate to 147 individuals. Among them, 6 individuals have received the Creative Labor Certificate from the Provincial Confederation of Labor three times, notably Comrade Pham Vinh Hung - Director and Chairman of the Trade Union of Nghe An Oncology Hospital; Comrade Cao Minh Hoa - a worker in the technical department of TH Milk Joint Stock Company, Nghia Dan district... The units that consistently maintain the "Excellent Worker - Creative Worker" emulation movement, promoting technical innovation, rationalizing production, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene, and continuously receiving awards from the Provincial Labor Union and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, are: the Health Sector Labor Union, the Southeast Economic Zone Labor Union, the Nghia Dan District Labor Union, the Agriculture and Rural Development Sector Labor Union (now the Agriculture and Environment Sector Labor Union), TH Milk Joint Stock Company, Nafoods Group Joint Stock Company...

Building on the enthusiasm and effectiveness of emulation movements, in 2025, the Provincial Labor Union organized the "Creative Labor Forum 2025" with the theme "Strong Faith - Building the Future" to allow union members and workers to exchange experiences and spread inspiration for continuous creativity and innovation in their work... At the same time, it honored 90 outstanding individuals who achieved the title of "Excellent Individual".Workers, civil servants, and laborers in Nghe An follow President Ho Chi Minh's teachings.".

In the movements "The whole country joins hands for the poor - Leaving no one behind," the nationwide emulation movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, the "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene" emulation movement, and the "Excellent in national affairs - Competent in household affairs" emulation movement, etc., all have achieved noteworthy results. Continuously from 2020 to 2024, the Provincial Labor Union has exceeded its emulation targets: In 2024, the Provincial Labor Union completed and exceeded 32 out of 32 provincial targets and 12 out of 12 targets of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; and was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

We will continue to innovate and improve the quality and effectiveness of key emulation movements. At the same time, we will innovate the emulation and reward system, linking it to the tasks of units, enterprises, grassroots trade unions, and localities; focusing on productivity, quality, efficiency, and innovation as key criteria. Furthermore, we will ensure timely, fair, and transparent recognition, paying attention to direct laborers, and applying digital technology in managing, evaluating, and summarizing the emulation movement, ensuring its widespread dissemination.
