(Baonghean.vn) - Towards the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2017), on the afternoon of July 23, a working delegation of the Provincial Military Command led by Colonel Tran Van Hung - Commander of the Provincial Military Command visited and presented gifts to seriously wounded soldier Nguyen Van Dien (Nghi Phong commune, Nghi Loc district).
Mr. Nguyen Van Dien in hamlet 22, Nghi Phong commune, Nghi Loc district is a 1/4 disabled veteran with a disability rate of 97% and is currently being treated at the Nghe An province's Nursing Center for Disabled Veterans.

On behalf of the Provincial Military Command Party Committee, Colonel Tran Van Hung - Commander of the Provincial Military Command sent best wishes to the family of wounded soldier Nguyen Van Dien; at the same time, he hoped that he would try his best to recover, overcome difficulties, and be a shining example for the younger generation to follow.
On this occasion, the Provincial Military Command coordinated with the Army Youth Union, Military Region 4 and other levels and sectors to carry out many practical activities in social policy, military policy and military rear. These included presenting 621 gifts, giving 5 savings books each worth 10 million VND and building 8 comrade houses for families of war invalids, sick soldiers and martyrs in Nghe An province with a total value of more than 540 million VND./.
