The Provincial Military Command deploys epidemic prevention and control work in the provincial armed forces.

Recently, due to the extremely complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic in the province,Provincial Military CommandMaintained 100% of military personnel on duty at agencies and units; Thoroughly informed all officers and soldiers in the entire armed forces of the province to strictly implement epidemic prevention and control measures, not allowing the epidemic to penetrate and spread into the unit.

Currently, the Provincial Military Command and units have mobilized 1,350 officers, soldiers and 3,322 militiamen to participate in 660 epidemic prevention and control checkpoints and 767 centralized quarantine points across the province. Conducted rapid Covid-19 screening tests for 100% of officers, employees and soldiers. The results were 100% negative.

As of 10:00 a.m. on August 31, 2021, the Provincial Military Command has advised and organized 37 provincial quarantine points, receiving nearly 20,000 citizens for centralized quarantine, and has completed more than 19,000 citizens. The Provincial Military Command presided over and coordinated with departments and branches to organize the reception of 1,286 people from Ho Chi Minh City on 6 flights for quarantine.

Coordinate with the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and departments, branches and sectors to advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to do a good job of propaganda, mobilization, calling on people and agencies, organizations and businesses to join hands to contribute and support spiritually, materially, with food and necessities.

In particular, in coordination with the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and agencies and units located in the province, they donated and supported the people of the Southern provinces with a total amount of money and gifts worth nearly 1 billion VND; organized 6 "zero-dong booths", received nearly 45 tons of goods and necessities with a total value of 2.5 billion VND, and presented more than 19,000 gifts to support the people of Vinh City to overcome the pandemic. Launching the emulation movement "The Army and the whole country join hands and compete to prevent, fight and defeat the Covid-19 pandemic", officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command donated more than 500 million VND...

At the conference, Colonel Pham Van Dong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, Head of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of the Provincial Military Command requested the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of the province to regularly disseminate to agencies and units to strictly implement documents, directives and regulations of all levels on epidemic prevention and control, especially Directive 100 of the Minister of National Defense; Proactively detect, isolate and promptly handle related cases, resolutely prevent the epidemic from entering and spreading in agencies and units; coordinate with the Department of Health, Military Hospital 4 to organize Covid-19 vaccination for officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces and soldiers of units of the Military Region and the Ministry stationed in the province.

Continue to coordinate with departments, branches and localities to organize the reception and centralized quarantine of citizens returning from Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces; Survey, advise and coordinate with departments, branches and localities to organize field hospitals of the Provincial Military Command and participate in and coordinate the implementation of tasks at the province's field hospitals and epidemic prevention and control checkpoints in the province; Coordinate with local agencies and authorities to grasp the epidemic situation in the area, promptly advise and handle situations when they arise, quickly control the situation, and prevent the epidemic from spreading widely; Direct border districts to closely coordinate with Border Guard Stations to inspect and control 24/24 hours, not allowing people to illegally cross the border through trails and openings, coordinate with relevant agencies to search for, detect and promptly quarantine cases of illegal entry.
