Border Guards support poor students in border areas
(Baonghean.vn) - On September 5 and 6, units of Nghe An Border Guard had meaningful gifts, promptly given to poor students in the border area before entering the new school year.
Dien Thanh Border Guard Station presented two bicycles to Nguyen Thi Cam Van, a 9th grade student at Dien Kim Secondary School and Cao Thi My Tam, a 8th grade student at Dien Trung Secondary School (Dien Chau), each worth 1.7 million VND.

On this occasion, the Office of the Provincial Border Guard Command and Keng Du Border Guard Station presented gifts to students of Keng Du 1 Primary School, Keng Du Commune (Ky Son). Provincial Border Guard Staff Office and Border Guard StationPhuc Son also gave gifts to students of Cao Veu Secondary School in Phuc Son Commune (Anh Son). The total value of the gifts was over 13.5 million VND.
The money given to the children was voluntarily contributed by officers and soldiers of the units to help poor students overcome difficulties and study well in the border areas./.
