(Baonghean.vn) - A man transporting a large amount of explosives and detonators on a motorbike was discovered and arrested by the Nghe An Border Guard.
Accordingly, at 5:00 a.m. on August 27, the Drug and Crime Prevention Department, Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) patrolled and controlled the area of Tien My village, Tien Thuy commune, Quynh Luu district and discovered and arrested Ho Xuan Phuong (born in 1953), permanent resident of block 7, Quynh Xuan ward, Hoang Mai town, who was illegally transporting explosives and detonators.

At the scene, the Border Guard force seized 120 bars weighing 25 kg of explosives and 200 detonators, transported by motorbike.
According to the initial statement, the subject was on the way to transport the above quantity of evidence from Quynh Xuan ward, Hoang Mai town to Tien Thuy commune, Quynh Luu district to the above location when he was discovered and arrested.
Currently, Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard is completing the case file to transfer to the authorities for further investigation.
