Nghe An Border Guard promptly rescued a fishing boat in distress at sea.
On the morning of May 25, a fishing boat of fishermen from Quang Binh province encountered an accident at Cua Hoi estuary (Nghe An) in bad weather conditions. Upon receiving the emergency rescue signal, Nghe An Border Guard quickly mobilized forces to promptly respond, ensuring the safety of the vessel and the lives of the crew.
At 10:45 a.m. on May 25, Squadron 2, Nghe An Border Guard received urgent information about a fishing boat having an accident in Nghe An sea area.

Fishing boat number QB 91414TS, captained by Mr. Dao Tien Dung (born in 1980, from Quang Binh), while entering Cua Hoi port to avoid bad weather, suddenly had its rudder broken, completely losing its ability to maneuver. There were 4 crew members on board and sent out an urgent rescue signal.
Immediately after receiving the information, Squadron 2 reported to the Nghe An Border Guard Command to quickly direct the mobilization of ship BP 06.11.01 and forces directly commanded by Major Tran Duy Long, Deputy Squadron Leader, to urgently move to the scene to organize the rescue.

Although the weather was rainy and windy, making rescue work difficult, with a sense of urgency and responsibility, the forces of Squadron 2 successfully approached the distressed vehicle. At about 1:45 p.m. the same day, ship BP 06.11.01 safely towed fishing boat QB 91414TS and all 4 crew members to Cua Hoi port.
All crew members are currently in stable health. The fishing boat has been safely anchored at the port, awaiting repairs.
