Soldiers help people build new rural roads

(Baonghean.vn) - On May 16, over 300 soldiers, militiamen and youth union members of the Nghia Dan District Military Command coordinated to help people of Nghia Hung commune build roads.

The road section of Hamlet 5, Nghia Hung Commune is a shared road for 12 hamlets in the commune. In this road construction campaign, the Military Command of Nghia Dan District mobilized over 300 people including officers, soldiers of the unit, militia and self-defense forces, in coordination with local organizations and people in the hamlet to participate.

After a day of urgent construction, the army and people completed the 2km long road.

Nghia Dan District Military Command presented 6 gifts to policy families with difficult circumstances in Nghia Hung commune.

On this occasion, the Party Committee of the Nghia Dan District Military Command presented 6 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) to policy families with difficult circumstances in the commune. This is one of the activities responding to the movement "The Army joins hands to build new rural areas"; contributing to strengthening the military-civilian relationship, helping the locality soon complete the national target program on new rural construction.
