Ministry of Education and Training approves joint organization of IELTS English certificate exam
The Ministry of Education and Training has just approved the joint organization of IELTS English certification exams between IDP Education Company Limited (Vietnam) and IELTS Australia Pty Ltd (Australia).
According to the decision, the parties are responsible for complying with Vietnamese law, commitments, and plans to ensure conditions for joint organization of foreign language proficiency certification exams as prescribed in Decree No. 86/2018/ND-CP as well as regulations of Education and Training.
The exam questions, exam registration process, exam organization process, facilities, equipment for organizing the exam, ensuring security, safety, confidentiality before, during and after the exam; staff, technicians, employees of the parties participating in organizing the exam shall comply with the regulations of IELTS Australia Pty Ltd and the laws of Vietnam.
In Hanoi, the exam venues will be: 30 Trieu Viet Vuong (Hai Ba Trung); 15-17 Ngoc Khanh (Ba Dinh); In Da Nang, the exam venue will be at 10 Ngo Gia Tu; in Ho Chi Minh City, the exam venue will be at 161-161A Hai Ba Trung (District 3).

IDP Education Company Limited is responsible for notifying in writing the exam schedule to the specialized education agency under the People's Committee of the province/city where the exam is held 5 days before the exam date. Send reports on activities related to the organization of the exam at theIELTS English Certificateperiodically every 6 months and when there are other changes to the regulations to the Ministry of Education and Training, at the same time, it will be subject to inspection, examination and supervision by the Ministry of Education and Training as well as local professional agencies.
The Department of Quality Management is responsible for inspecting and coordinating with relevant units to inspect the joint organization of IELTS English certificate exams between the parties.
In addition, the Ministry of Education and Training has also issued a decision approving the joint organization of the Linguaskill English certificate exam between REAP Technology Research, Application and Experimental Joint Stock Company and the Principal, Masters and Scholars of Cambridge University operating through an organization under the University of Cambridge Publishing and Examinations Council.
Previously, the units suddenly announced the temporary suspension of foreign language proficiency exams, causing confusion and anxiety for candidates and their parents. Some even planned to go abroad to take the exam in time to obtain additional certificates to supplement their study abroad scholarship applications.
