Russian Foreign Ministry speaks out about the US establishing an anti-China CIA center
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on CIA Director William Burns' statement about the establishment of an anti-China center.
On the establishment of the CIA center against China
According to Ms. Zakharova, to deal with the main geopolitical threats of the 21st century, the CIA will use the methods of the 20th century, "pulling out from the museum's reserves their favorite thing, the Cold War strategy." The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry accused the CIA of reviving the old order. Ms. Zakharova noted that to counter Beijing, the United States intends to act in the old ways: strengthen the CIA's personnel composition and establish surveillance over China.

"Aggressive Russia"
Ms. Zakharova also emphasized that the CIA will monitor the actions of “aggressive Russia”... “We are mentioned on the same level as terrorism, North Korea and Iran. The depth of the CIA-style analysis does not allow to bury your head in it to think thoroughly."
The diplomat stressed that the organization of the new CIA center comes at a time when US national security is facing more serious problems: the increase in illegal migration, cross-border organized crime, and challenges related to the pandemic.
