Ministry of National Defense inspects the management and use of defense land in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 5, a working delegation from the Barracks Department, General Department of Logistics of the Ministry of National Defense led by Colonel Dao Xuan Hiep - Deputy Director of the Barracks Department inspected the management and use of defense land of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command and units stationed in the province.
Working with the delegation were comrades: Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4; Colonel Tran Van Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command.

The working delegation inspected the actual situation at a number of units in the area and listened to the units' reports on the results achieved, the advantages and disadvantages in the process of using defense land, recommendations on this work, and directions to overcome shortcomings and defects in the coming time.

Speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Director of the Barracks Department, General Department of Logistics of the Ministry of National Defense requested agencies and units to thoroughly grasp Directive No. 01/CT-TTg dated January 3, 2018 of the Prime Minister: "On rectifying and strengthening land management and building a land information system" and the inspection plan approved by the Minister of National Defense.

In the coming time, units need to focus on strict management, strengthen patrols, monitor boundary markers and use defense land properly and effectively; complete legal procedures to request localities to issue Land Use Right Certificates in accordance with the law.
