Recently, a number of cases of public land being sold at low prices have been exposed, causing public disapproval. With the Government, the Prime Minister and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh have directed many inspections of central agencies, requesting them to organize inspections, checks, and verifications to clarify issues related to public opinion when information is available.

"The spirit requires transparency, publicity, and the highest benefits for the State. On April 20, the Prime Minister chaired a national conference related to policies and procedures for construction investment to promote disbursement, promote growth, and remove difficulties," said the Minister.

The Minister also said that the inspection agency's report also clearly stated that in this field, there were also huge losses related to public land, public assets, cheap transfers, designated bidding, directed transfers, no auctions or non-public auctions, related to group interests... causing huge losses to the State budget.

With that reality, Minister Mai Tien Dung emphasized: "The Prime Minister's directive is to require inspection, examination, and review of losses. If there is any, it must be clarified to make it public. From now on, this situation will definitely no longer exist. There must be transparent auctions so that everyone can participate and all citizens can be monitored. The goal is to be transparent and collect to ensure the highest interests of the State"./.
