Ministry of Health 'blows whistle' on a series of substandard cosmetics
The Drug Administration of Vietnam has just suspended nationwide circulation of cosmetics from Mai Khang Company, Tinh Hoa Company, and Cosmetic Collagen Vietnam Company because these products do not meet quality standards.

Accordingly, the Drug Administration of Vietnam - Ministry of Health has announced the suspension of circulation and recall of cosmetic products TMDL Rose Lemongrass Shampoo of Tinh Hoa Trading and Service Company Limited (address 222 Mai Anh Dao, Ward 8, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province).
According to the Drug Administration of Vietnam, the test results of the product sample of TMDL Rose Shampoo and Conditioner, manufactured on July 2018 and expired on July 2020, taken by the Hanoi Department of Health Inspectorate at the company's Hanoi branch for quality inspection, found that it did not meet the requirements on microbial limits in cosmetics.
The Drug Administration Department requires Tinh Hoa Trading and Service Company Limited to urgently notify the distributors and users of the products to recall the above substandard cosmetic products. The deadline for reporting the recall results to the Department is September 21.

In official dispatch No. 16523/QLD-MP, the Department of Drug Administration announced to only circulate and recall substandard cosmetics for the product Duy Dang Bright Pink Pearl Facial Cleanser, batch number 02, production date September 1, 2017, expiry date September 1, 2020.
This product is manufactured by Cometic Collagen Vietnam Co., Ltd. (address at 33/21 Street 04, Binh Hung Hoa A Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City) and distributed by Duy Dang Cosmetics Co., Ltd. (address at 37/1, Group 6, KP3, Tan Hiep Ward, Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai).
The above product sample was taken by Vinh Phuc Testing Center at Bao Khanh Cosmetics Facility (Vinh Yen City, Vinh Phuc) for quality testing and discovered that the product did not meet the microbial limits in cosmetics.
The Drug Administration Department requires these two companies to notify the distribution and business locations of the Department's decision and recall the batch of Duy Dang Bright Pink Pearl Facial Cleanser that does not meet the above quality standards, and report to the Drug Administration Department before September 21.
