Training in propaganda writing skills for Lao press agencies
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 15, in Cua Lo Town, the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam in coordination with the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism of Laos organized a training course on "Skills in writing news to promote economic, political and social target programs" for journalists from central and local press agencies of the Lao PDR.
Attending the opening ceremony, on the Vietnamese side, there was Mr. Luu Dinh Phuc - Director of the Press Department, Ministry of Information and Communications. On the Lao side, there was Mr. Vilaythoong Sisanonh - Director of the Institute of Cultural Information, Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism. Representatives of the Department of Information and Communications, Department of Foreign Affairs of Nghe An attended the ceremony.

During the 5 days (from August 15-19), more than 40 Lao journalists will be shared with Vietnamese lecturers about reporting skills and producing press products to carry out political tasks on press information for economic, political and social target programs in all 4 types of press: print, radio, television and electronic.
This is a topic that Lao journalists currently need for their professional activities and to carry out their duties. Especially, in the context that the Lao People's Revolutionary Party has just successfully organized the 10th National Party Congress and is currently in the process of implementing Resolution X to all organizations, bases and people across the country, how can the Resolution proposed by the Congress be deployed, organized and implemented most effectively, becoming a widespread movement throughout the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people, contributing to promoting the economic and social development of Laos in the coming years.

On this occasion, Comrade Vilaythong Sisanonh affirmed that the knowledge and training associated with the practical political, economic and social life that Vietnamese lecturers have imparted to more than 400 Lao journalists over the past years has helped Lao journalists gain more experience and professional skills, continue to make many contributions to the mass media work of Laos, and contribute to bringing the policies of the Lao Party, State and Government to the people as quickly and effectively as possible.
