V-League Organizing Committee determined to eliminate negativity at the end of 2016 season

To prevent dishonest matches at the end of the 2016 season, the V-League Organizing Committee has notified clubs to resolutely eliminate acts of asking for or giving up points.

Starting from round 24 to round 26 of V-League 2016, the tournament organizers will apply the same time and same day for all matches. This is to increase the attractiveness and competition for rankings between teams, especially the top clubs competing for the championship such as Than.QN, Hai Phong, HN.T&T, SHB.DN, ...

In this round 24, the match that has received much attention between FLC Thanh Hoa and Than.QN will be very decisive for the owner of the V-League 2016 championship. Therefore, the organization of the match as well as the determination of the referee team to control this match are considered very carefully. According to research, it is not excluded that there will be a foreign referee to control the most "important" match of round 24.

Having an outside referee to control the match is no longer a strange thing because in previous rounds, there were foreign "Kings of the field" officiated. The competition between the teams was pushed up in the final stage of the tournament, so recently, the Head of the tournament's Organizing Committee Nguyen Minh Ngoc issued a notice to the teams, including some contents such as the clubs closely and comprehensively coordinating with the tournament's Organizing Committee, resolutely eliminating acts of asking for points, giving up points, and fixing matches in any form;

Strengthen management and closely monitor players; continue to promote propaganda and education for players on professional ethics, noble spirit, fair play in competition; absolutely oppose negative behaviors, violence on the field, match-fixing, and football betting; promptly report to VFF, VPF and the tournament's Organizing Committee when detecting negative phenomena and behaviors.
