Bun bo Hue recognized as Asian record

Bun bo Hue, a famous dish of the ancient capital, is in the top 100 dishes of Asian culinary value recognized by the Asian Record Organization.

The ceremony to honor "Hue specialty brands", especially with the presence of beef noodle soup recognized as an Asian record, took place on January 17 in Hue city. Accordingly, beef noodle soup is in the top 100 dishes with Asian culinary value.

The ceremony was part of the opening ceremony of the Thua Thien Hue Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival. Along with that, many other famous specialties such as sesame candy, sour shrimp paste, pomelo, lotus seed tea, nem tre, banh khoai, banh loc, banh beo, and hen rice were also honored for achieving Vietnamese records.

According to Mr. Dinh Manh Thang, Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Tourism Association, honoring culinary values ​​will be an opportunity to promote to domestic and foreign tourists to know and understand the original value of famous specialties of Hue.

This is also an opportunity to exchange experiences in processing and consuming products and at the same time promote linkages to develop products.
