As part of the journey of “Vietnam Pride Bus”, singer Phuong My Chi and nearly 50 artists stopped in Nghe An, carried out many meaningful activities for wounded and sick soldiers and joined hands to overcome the consequences of storm No. 5.

The "Vietnam Pride Bus" journey is an activity launched by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. This is a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. The "Vietnam Pride Bus" carries a group of young artists across Vietnam, starting in Ho Chi Minh City and ending in the capital Hanoi. Stopping at localities, the delegation organizes cultural exchanges and visits, presents gifts to families with meritorious services, and performs gratitude work. Photo: Thanh Quynh

Over the past 50 years, Nghe An War Invalids Nursing Center has received nearly 1,000 wounded and sick soldiers from the battlefields of the resistance wars against France and the US to save the country, the war to protect the northern and southwestern borders, and international missions in Laos and Cambodia. The Center is currently nurturing, treating and implementing policies for 55 wounded and sick soldiers from Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces. Having gone through the fire of war, the wounded and sick soldiers had to endure quite serious injuries and illnesses. To show the gratitude of the youth, the delegation of the Vietnam Pride Bus presented 113 gifts to the wounded and sick soldiers. At the same time, the delegation presented all the funds raised from the previous concert in Hue City to the people of Nghe An to share the difficulties caused by storm No. 5. Photo: Thanh Quynh

On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee presented gifts of gratitude to the artists and crew of the Vietnam Pride Bus Journey. Hopefully, the journey of the bus will continue to be extended with special art programs and many practical gratitude activities to spread national pride, the connection between the young generation and the previous generations, contributing to affirming the traditional cultural values ​​of Vietnam on the new development journey of the country.
