You are grateful to the Fatherland, your names are engraved in the history of the Vietnamese people in the journey of national development in the Ho Chi Minh era.
On the morning of January 10, at the DK1/9 platform area, Ba Ke Cluster, Naval Region 2, the Working Group of the Command of Region 2 held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate the Heroes and Martyrs who sacrificed their lives on the southern continental shelf of the Fatherland. This is a program in the cruise to wish the officers and soldiers of the DK1 platforms a Happy New Year 2022.

Facing the vast ocean, the New Year greetings delegation lined up neatly on the deck of the ship in silence. Colonel Vu Duy Luu - Deputy Chief of Politics of Naval Region 2 was moved to read the memorial speech: "In response to the requirements of the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers decided to establish an Economic - Scientific - Service Cluster on the Southern Continental Shelf. This is a very wise and timely decision, demonstrating the long-term strategic vision of the Party and State. Over the past 30 years, generations of Navy officers and soldiers, directly officers and soldiers of Battalion DK1 - Naval Region 2, children of provinces and cities across the country, have put aside their personal feelings, ambitions and great aspirations of youth to be present and perform their duties on the Platforms on the Southern Continental Shelf with countless difficulties, hardships and harshness".

Your example of sacrifice has become a beautiful, shining symbol of the heroic qualities of Navy soldiers in the new era. Your departure was peaceful and glorious. However, it left behind the utmost pain of your families, compatriots, comrades and the endless longing of your mothers, fathers, wives and children in your homeland."
