(Baonghean.vn) - This February 1, units, businesses, and agencies in the province went to give gifts and wish a happy new year to poor and disadvantaged households in the province.

* Nghia Dan: Giving gifts to poor households on the occasion of Tet Binh Than 2016

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2016, on February 1, the Military Command of Nghia Dan district extended New Year greetings and presented gifts to families with special difficulties and poor households in Nghia Loc, Nghia Thinh and Nghia Hoi communes (Nghia Dan).

The District Military Command visited and presented gifts to 10 poor and extremely disadvantaged households in Nghia Loc, Nghia Thinh and Nghia Hoi communes (Nghia Dan), each gift worth over 500,000 VND with a total value of over 5 million VND. The above gifts were spent sparingly by officers and soldiers in the unit on daily expenses. Although the gifts were not many, they demonstrated the Vietnamese people's morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", mutual love and support "The whole leaves cover the torn leaves".

The delegation visited, encouraged and presented 21 million 700 thousand VND, the amount of money from organizations and individuals to support and help Mr. Hung's family in times of trouble.

Mr. Hung's family is in a difficult situation, both husband and wife were in a traffic accident, the wife broke her arm and is taking care of her husband at Nghe An General Hospital, he has not regained consciousness for a month and a half. Meanwhile, the two children are disabled, with congenital cerebral palsy.
