Localities finalize list of candidates for district-level People's Council delegates

(Baonghean.vn) - On April 15, the District Fatherland Front Committee held the 3rd Consultation Conference to finalize the list of candidates for the District People's Council, term 2016 - 2021.

*In Nghi Loc district,The conference approved the list of people who withdrew from the candidate list, including 7 comrades, and finalized the list of 69 official candidates to elect 44 delegates to the District People's Council, term 2016 - 2021.

* In Anh Son district,The conference agreed to establish a list of 70 people qualified to run for the District People's Council for the 2016-2021 term. Of which, 32 are female, accounting for 45.7%; 29 are young, accounting for 41.43%; 11 are non-Party members, accounting for 15.7%; 4 are ethnic groups, accounting for 5.7%; 4 are religious, accounting for 5.7%; 13 are re-elected, accounting for 18.6%.

The conference discussed and agreed on a plan to organize a meeting with voters so that candidates can participate in election campaigns to contribute to improving the quality of district People's Council delegates for the 2016-2021 term.

* In Nam Dan district,The conference discussed and agreed to withdraw 4 people from the list, finalizing the list of 63 people qualified to run for the 20th term of the District People's Council, 2016-2021 term. After the 3rd consultation conference, the District Fatherland Front Committee will coordinate with units and localities to organize a conference to deploy the plan to meet voters and campaign for the candidates.

* In Hung Nguyen,There are 8 candidates who have withdrawn from the list of candidates for the District People's Council for the 2016-2021 term.

The third consultation conference agreed to introduce 54 candidates for voters to elect 33 district People's Council delegates. The third consultation conference concluded the 5-step process of selecting and introducing candidates for district People's Council delegates. In the coming time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front will organize for candidates to meet voters to campaign for the election.
