Localities and units enthusiastically respond to the Tree Planting Festival
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 27, in response to the Spring Tree Planting Festival, localities and units in Nghe An simultaneously planted thousands of trees.
* Imbued with Uncle Ho's teaching "For the benefit of ten years, plant trees, for the benefit of a hundred years, cultivate people", in recent years, Nam Dan district has always identified tree planting as an important task, closely linked to the development process of the district, not only for today but for future generations.
In 2022, the whole district planted 130 hectares of new concentrated forest, nearly 7,850 trees, and more than 30,000 fruit trees of all kinds.

Right at the launching ceremony on the morning of January 27, delegates participating in the launching ceremony and local people simultaneously planted 100 tamarind and ban trees on the inter-commune road and the Cultural House of Hamlet 6, Nam Thanh Commune, starting the 2023 afforestation movement with the goal of planting 150 hectares of concentrated forest, 330,000 scattered trees, towards greening bare land and bare hills, creating a green - clean - beautiful ecological environment and rapidly increasing forest cover.
* On the morning of January 27 (the 6th day of the Lunar New Year 2023), at the stadium of the People's Committee of Nghia Lac commune, the People's Committee of Nghia Dan district organized the launching ceremony of the "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho" Tree Planting Festival in the Spring of the Year of the Cat 2023.
In 2022, the entire Nghia Dan district planted 350,000 scattered trees according to the Prime Minister's project to plant 1 billion trees and the plan of the District People's Committee; planted more than 1,500 hectares of concentrated forests; better protected 18,500 hectares of existing forests.
In 2023, Nghia Dan district strives to plant more than 1,500 hectares of concentrated forests; continue to promote the movement to protect and develop forests in the whole district; create consensus and response from all classes of people in planting trees and forests, contributing with the whole country to achieve the goal of planting 1 billion trees in the period of 2021 - 2025.
* On the morning of January 27, at Pha village, Yen Khe commune, leaders of the District Party Committee, Con Cuong District People's Committee and departments, offices and localities in the district organized a launching ceremony for the Spring Tree Planting Festival 2023.

In 2023, Con Cuong district will implement the Tree Planting Festival in conjunction with the plan to "plant 1 billion trees" according to the Government's project and the project to plant urban and rural trees, to soon build Con Cuong district into an ecological urban area. Accordingly, the whole district will plant over 123,000 trees of all kinds; each village, hamlet, block, and hamlet will organize tree planting on intra-village and inter-village roads with a minimum of 300 trees. Each household will plant at least 3-5 trees around their house and garden. Along with that, planting protective forests, preventing landslides, protecting natural resources and landscapes to preserve, maintain and promote the values of national cultural identity.
* On the same day, Border Guard units on the two border and coastal lines simultaneously responded to the "Tet tree planting festival to forever remember Uncle Ho".
The units planted over 1,500 trees in 2 groups including: perennial, sustainable trees, mainly for landscape, shade, environment, timber trees and fruit trees suitable to ecological conditions in each locality.

All units focus on implementing the motto "plant a tree, let it live", contributing to building a green - clean - beautiful landscape for the unit and local environment.
* Also on the morning of January 27, the Party Committee of Nghe An Provincial Business Bloc coordinated with Song Hieu Forestry One Member Co., Ltd. to organize the Tree Planting Festival "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho" Spring Quy Mao 2023.

Accordingly, the leaders of the Bloc and units under the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee in districts and towns, including Nghia Dan, Thai Hoa, and Quy Hop, planted more than 200 acacia trees at Ban Mong Lake in Sub-area 244, Ward 9, 10 of Nghia Dan Forestry Farm.
* On the morning of January 27, the People's Committee of Hoang Mai town organized the launching ceremony of "Tree planting festival, eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho" Spring Quy Mao.
Attending the ceremony were comrade Le Truong Giang - Secretary of the City Party Committee; political and social organizations, and armed forces in the area.
At the launching ceremony, the spirit of communes, wards, agencies, units, especially the Management Board of Northern Nghe An Protective Forests was thoroughly grasped, closely following the assigned targets and plans, developing specific plans, preparing enough materials, seedlings to organize forest planting, planting concentrated and scattered trees, fruit trees so that within the year the whole town can well implement and complete the planting of new concentrated forests, 180,000 scattered trees, shade trees; pay attention to building standard gardens, new rural model gardens, associated with encouraging the renovation of mixed gardens to plant many new fruit trees, contributing to the successful implementation of the Project "Planting 1 billion trees in the period 2021-2025" of the Government and the Plan of the Provincial People's Committee.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, a large number of cadres, civil servants, public employees and agencies planted 26 shade trees at the town stadium, starting the tree planting and afforestation movement in 2023, contributing to creating a green, clean and beautiful ecological environment and rapidly increasing forest cover.
