Localities and units support people in flood-affected areas
(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the Open Letter calling for "Support for people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters" of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, on October 4, many localities, agencies and units in the province launched, donated and helped people suffering heavy losses caused by floods.

National Assembly DelegationThe delegation led by Comrade Nguyen Van Chi - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Finance and Budget Committee presented gifts to support people in Quynh Luu district affected by the recent floods. Accompanying comrades were: Hoang Phu Binh - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee; Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An Province; Hoang Danh Lai - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council; Hoang Van Bo - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee, representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and related departments and branches.
Due to the impact of storm No. 4, widespread flooding occurred in Quynh Luu district. Specifically, more than 6,800 households in the district had their houses flooded, of which 678 households had to evacuate and 7 houses had their roofs blown off. More than 1,800 hectares of rice and vegetables were damaged, 1,193 hectares of aquaculture were lost, and over 82,000 livestock and poultry died... Up to this point, the lives of people in flooded areas are still unstable, especially the lack of clean water for daily life and food.
Sharing the difficulties of the people affected by floods in Quynh Luu district on this occasion, the National Assembly delegation presented 15 million VND in cash to Quynh Luu district to distribute to support households severely affected by floods. At the same time, the delegation also went directly to Quynh Hong commune to present gifts to 3 households severely affected by floods. Quynh Luu district also took from the Natural Disaster Fund to give 500 thousand VND in cash to each household.
On behalf of the working delegation, comrade Nguyen Van Chi - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Finance and Budget Committee asked about the health, flood situation and encouraged households in Quynh Hong commune in particular and people in Quynh Luu district in general to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

Here, the delegation presented 20 gifts to support 20 households that suffered heavy damage due to flash floods in Hoa Son and Son Ha villages, Ta Ca commune.
The delegation then went to encourage and share the loss with the family of Ms. Va Y Do, in Son Ha village, Ta Ca commune, the family whose 4-month-old child died due to flash floods, and also presented 2 gifts to the family of Ms. Va Y Do and her child Mua Chi Mua, the victim who escaped death due to flash floods on the morning of October 2.
On the same day, a working delegation of Ky Son district led by comrade Nguyen Huu Minh - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee visited and presented 4 million VND to Ms. Va Y Do's family.

On behalf of the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard, Colonel Ho Quyet Thang shared the difficulties and hardships of the Party Committee, the government, departments, organizations and people of Ky Son district who had just experienced a flash flood that caused extremely serious consequences. Immediately after the flood passed, the Provincial Border Guard Command mobilized 100 officers and soldiers to urgently approach the severely damaged areas with the people and forces to overcome the consequences of the flash flood.
The working delegation presented 2.5 tons of necessities (instant noodles, dry food, milk, drinking water),... to Ky Son district to help the locality overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
* Currently in the areaCon Cuong districtThere are still some villages and hamlets of the two border communes of Chau Khe and Mon Son that are still isolated due to flood water and landslides. In that situation, the Con Cuong District Relief Committee led by Mr. Hoang Sy Kien - Chairman of the District People's Committee, and the working group directly went to give nearly 700 boxes of instant noodles and more than 1,000 packages of seasoning powder to the people.

Of which, 335 boxes of instant noodles and 670 packages of seasoning powder were given to the people of 3 villages Khe Bu, Khe Na, Khe Nong of Chau Khe commune and 320 boxes of instant noodles and 695 packages of seasoning powder were given to the people of 2 villages Co Phat, Ban Bung of Mon Son commune (total cost of more than 80 million VND was taken from the district's relief fund).
* To promptly encourage households affected by heavy rain, comrade Truong Minh Cuong - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's CouncilQue Phong districtgave support money to the family of Mr. Luong Van Hoach, Thanh Phong village, Muong Noc commune, whose house collapsed due to heavy rain.

Mr. Luong Van Hoach's family is in a particularly difficult situation and in that situation, the Que Phong District Fund for the Poor and Relief Fund has supported the family with 40 million VND to build a house. In addition, the Que Phong District Red Cross Fund also gave gifts to the family. Hopefully, the family will try their best, along with the help of brothers, relatives and neighbors, to complete the house for the family.
On this occasion, Que Phong district organized 3 delegations to visit, encourage and give support money to families affected by heavy rains in Hanh Dich, Tien Phong and Nam Nhoong communes.
* Anh Son district working groupThe delegation led by comrade Nguyen Huu Sang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council visited, encouraged and presented support money to the people of Ky Son district. Accompanying were comrades of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee.
To contribute to sharing the loss of life and property caused by floods in Ky Son district, the delegation of Anh Son district visited, encouraged and presented 200 million VND to support the people of Ky Son district.
This is the timely sharing and encouragement of Anh Son district to the people in the flood-hit Ky Son area, aiming to promote the tradition of solidarity and mutual love of our nation, contributing with the Party Committee, government and people of Ky Son district to soon overcome the consequences of natural disasters and stabilize life.

At the same time, he called on all officers and soldiers in the unit with their feelings and responsibilities, promoting the tradition of "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves" to join hands and contribute with the people of the whole country to support and help Ky Son District soon overcome difficulties, restore production and stabilize people's lives.
