Units and localities give gifts to policy families and workers on the occasion of July 27
(Baonghean.vn) - On July 26, agencies, departments, branches and localities sent working delegations to visit and present gifts to war invalids and families of policy beneficiaries on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.

The gift from the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs is intended to make a small contribution to helping families of martyrs overcome difficulties in life.

* TT 80 Brigade (Military Region 4)) organized a free medical examination and medicine session for the people of Lam Son and Tien Phong hamlets; visited and presented 10 gifts to relatives of martyrs, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers and families in difficult circumstances in Nam Hung commune (Nam Dan), cleaned and planted trees at the martyrs' cemetery of the commune. This is one of the activities of the Brigade during the 11-day field trip combined with mass mobilization work (from July 16 to 26) in Nam Hung commune, Nam Dan district.

After the flower and incense offering ceremony at the martyrs' cemetery, the delegation offered incense and reported their achievements to Uncle Ho at the Uncle Ho Memorial House, visited Dong Hieu Farm and the stele listing the names of 10 martyrs who sacrificed their lives at the headquarters of Dong Hieu commune.

Mrs. Le Thi Chi, from a poor family, during the resistance war against America, her son Hoang Xuan Huan sacrificed his life while on duty. The house her family is living in has been built for a long time and is in serious disrepair.
The new house was built on an area of 90 square meters. The total construction cost was over 120 million VND. Of which, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province supported 50 million VND, the rest was contributed by the family. Organizations, unions of the commune and hamlet helped the family by providing working days.
*Nghia Dan District Farmers' AssociationCoordinated with 25 Farmers' Associations of communes and towns to organize delegations to visit, give gifts and encourage 45 families of war invalids, martyrs, and policy families with difficult circumstances in the district.

The delegation directly visited and presented 10 gifts to 10 families of war invalids, sick soldiers, and martyrs, each gift worth 650,000 VND taken from the district's gratitude fund.
At the destinations, the delegation kindly visited the families, shared their pain and loss, and expressed deep gratitude for the great contributions of heroic martyrs, wounded soldiers, families of policy beneficiaries, and meritorious people, and encouraged the families to always promote revolutionary traditions, strive to improve their lives, unite, build a prosperous and happy family economy, and contribute to the cause of building an increasingly prosperous homeland.

Also on this occasion, agencies and units in the entire Division took from the unit's capital fund to coordinate with departments, branches and organizations in the stationed area to present 293 gifts to wounded and sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, and families with meritorious services to the revolution with a total value of 63 million VND.
In addition, officers and soldiers of the units coordinated with union members and youth of the localities to clean up, take care of graves, offer incense and light candles in gratitude at 855 commune martyr cemeteries and at 2 Vietnam - Laos martyr cemeteries in Anh Son and Do Luong districts (Nghe An).
