Causes of your heart beating too fast
A rapid heartbeat can be frightening, especially if it doesn't happen repeatedly.
Dr. Manav Bhushan (British) shared the cause of the phenomenon.heart ratefast.
To get a normal heart rate, you need to rest for at least 5 minutes before checking your pulse. Most adults have a heart rate between 60 and 100 beats per minute - this is considered normal.
Your heart rate is much slower when you are sleeping or relaxing. As your heart pumps blood throughout your body, you can feel it beating in the blood vessels near the surface of your skin. The easiest areas to check your pulse are your wrists and neck.
When you're healthy, your resting heart rate is lower. That's why theathletehas a resting heart rate of 40 to 60 beats per minute.
If you find your heart rate is consistently above 120 or below 40, you should see your GP.

In some cases, a fast heart rate is completely normal and nothing to worry about. “A person can have a fast heart rate due todo exerciseat high intensity, high temperature or humidity, dehydration or even from drinking too much caffeine”.
Some other common reasons are stress, fear, low blood sugar, low blood pressure, fever, anemia, dehydration, pregnancy, drinking too much alcohol, using stimulants.
Sometimes a rapid or irregular heartbeat is a sign of a medical condition such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, atrial fibrillation, etc.
To know the exact health status, Dr. Bhushan suggests doing an electrocardiogram.
“You should get checked out if your rapid heart rate is accompanied by other symptoms like chest discomfort, palpitations, or dizziness,” advises Dr. Bhushan.
