Universities in Nghe An announce minimum admission scores

After the Ministry of Education and Training announced the results of the 2022 high school graduation exam, universities in Nghe An also began announcing scores to determine the input quality threshold for the 2022 admission season.

Specifically, the minimum score for Medicine is 22 points, Pharmacy is 21 points, and the majors of Laboratory Technology, Nursing, and Preventive Medicine are 19 points.

At Vinh University, the threshold for ensuring input quality is calculated in many different ways.

In particular, with the admission method using high school graduation exam results, the threshold to ensure input quality (the score for receiving application documents) is determined for each admission major and does not distinguish the priority order of wishes.

Specifically, the minimum score for 49 regular university majors will be from 17 to 25 points. Of which, the majors with 17 points focus on majors such as Natural Resources and Environment Management, Land Management, Agronomy, Aquaculture, Construction Economics, Construction Engineering. The highest minimum score is English Pedagogy (talented class) 25 points - English subject is 8 points or higher. Next are majors such as Primary Education 24 points, High-quality Mathematics Pedagogy 24 points, in which Mathematics subject is 8 points or higher, Mathematics Pedagogy, English Pedagogy 22 points.

With the admission method based on the results of the Thinking and Capacity Assessment Test of Hanoi National University and Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the admission score = (exam score + priority score by subject + priority score by area (if any), in which the candidate's exam score is converted to 30 points. The threshold score to ensure quality (the score to receive application documents) is from 17 points.

At Nghe An University of Economics, the admission score based on high school exam results is 13 points, admission based on high school study results is 15 points, admission score based on combined method is 14 points and admission score based on capacity assessment and thinking assessment results is 13 points.

The school is expected to announce the admission quality threshold this afternoon. However, in an interview with Nghe An Newspaper, Dr. Cao Danh Chinh - Vice Principal of the school said that the school plans to set the floor score at 18 points based on the high school graduation exam results, 20 points based on academic results and 90/150 points based on the results of the Hanoi National University's competency assessment exam.

According to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training,from 7/22/2022 to 5:00 p.m. on 8/20/2022Candidates can register, adjust and add admission wishes an unlimited number of times. Registration of admission wishes for admission methods must be done online on the General Admission Support System or on the National Public Service Portal.

From August 21, 2022 to 5:00 p.m. on August 28, 2022,Candidates must confirm the number and order of their admission wishes on the System, and pay the admission fee according to the number of admission wishes online. When candidates have not confirmed the number and order of their admission wishes or have not paid the admission fee, the System will not accept the candidate's application for admission.

Regarding admission confirmation, successful candidates who are eligible for direct admission can confirm their admission on the system from July 22 to 5:00 p.m. August 20, 2022. Candidates who have confirmed their admission will not be allowed to register for further admission, except in cases where the head of the training institution allows them not to enroll.

Before 5:00 p.m. on September 30, 2022,All successful candidates need to confirm their admission online for the first round on the General Admission Support System.
