On October 13, information from the People's Committee of Hong Linh town (Ha Tinh) said that Mr. Tran Quang Tuan - Chairman of the People's Committee of Hong Linh town, has just signed a decision to discipline and remove Mr. Tran Ngoc Chau from his position as Director of the Town's Culture - Sports - Tourism Center. The decision takes effect from October 15.

Mr. Chau was dismissed from his position for violating the law on cadres, civil servants, and public employees, regulations on exemplary leadership responsibilities; seriously offending the dignity and honor of employees, affecting the reputation of the Party organization and the cultural sector of Hong Linh town, causing negative public opinion about the image of cadres and party members.

After being removed from the position of director, Mr. Chau was transferred to work as a civil servant at the Cultural - Sports - Tourism Center of Hong Linh town.

Regarding this incident, on September 19, the Executive Committee of the Hong Linh Town Party Committee issued a decision to remove Mr. Tran Ngoc Chau from his position as Executive Committee Member of the Cultural Party Cell, under the Party Committee of the Town Government Agency, and from his position as Secretary of the Party Cell of the Hong Linh Town Cultural - Sports - Tourism Center.
