(Baonghean.vn) - Talking to officials and people of Hamlet 10, Xuan Hoa Commune, Nam Dan District, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong suggested that people must strengthen and promote national solidarity; the government, officials and party members need to uphold their responsibility to serve the people.

On the afternoon of November 16, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong attended the Great Unity Festival with people in Hamlet 10, Xuan Hoa Commune, Nam Dan District.

Hamlet 10, Xuan Hoa commune has 221 households with 868 people. Over the past year, under the leadership of the Party Committee, Party cell and the efforts of all the people, Hamlet 10 has achieved many encouraging results.

Specifically, in terms of economic development, with 41.5 hectares of annual cultivated land, 100% of the area is closed, of which 15.5 hectares of vegetables are put into intensive production as commodities with 61 households cultivating for high productivity, with an average income of 200-300 million VND/ha/year. At the same time, the pond area is intensively cultivated with effective fish breeding and breeding models.

The hamlet develops small-scale handicrafts and sideline occupations such as: milling, construction material production, woodworking, transportation, and consumer goods trading. Thanks to that, the material and spiritual life of the people has been improved, the average income per capita in 2017 reached nearly 40 million VND; there are 22 rich households, accounting for over 10%; 172 well-off households; only 9 poor households, accounting for 4.2%;The rate of cultural families reached 87%.

The villagers contributed a lot of money and working days to harden rural roads and intra-field roads, contributing to the movement to turn Xuan Hoa commune into a new rural commune.

Hamlet 10 also takes the lead in the study encouragement movement of Xuan Hoa commune, thereby promptly encouraging students with good academic performance and supporting students with difficult circumstances. In the past 3 years, the hamlet has been one of the leading units in the emulation movements of the commune.

Talking to people in hamlet 10, Xuan Hoa commune, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong expressed his excitement and shared joy with the results people achieved in the past year.

To continue promoting the value and positive meaning of the National Great Unity Day in residential areas associated with the campaign "All people unite to build cultural life in residential areas", the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the cadres and people of Hamlet 10, Xuan Hoa Commune, Nam Dan District to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, helping each other develop production, building a cultural life in residential areas that is increasingly progressive and prosperous.

To do that, the people in the hamlet must strengthen and promote national solidarity. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also noted that the Party Committee and the Fatherland Front must do a good job of leading and mobilizing the people to compete in labor, production, and ensuring social security.

The government, cadres and party members in the commune need to uphold their responsibility to serve the people, respect, listen and promptly resolve the people's legitimate aspirations.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that Xuan Hoa commune in general and the people of hamlet 10 in particular need to well implement the 5 contents of the campaign to develop the economy; in addition to developing agricultural production, households need to invest in developing household economy such as: raising livestock and poultry; developing small-scale industry, craft villages and participating in labor export; continuing to join hands in building new rural areas, civilized residential areas, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of the people.
