(Baonghean.vn) - Admiring the extraordinary willpower and sympathizing with the situation of Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong in Nghia Dung commune, Tan Ky district (Nghe An) as reported in Nghe An newspaper, the collective of cadres, reporters, employees of Nghe An newspaper and readers ordered more than 100 volumes of poetry "Thirst for Life" composed by her.
As soon as we learned about Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong's situation, Nghe An Newspaper investigated and made a short report."The girl's thirst for life fighting cancer"and"Phuong's magical journey"very touching. Few people would know that inside that thin, weak body there is such an optimistic faith and extraordinary will to live.

Phuong's magical journey
(Baonghean.vn) - Nguyen Thi Phuong lies there, on the stainless steel bed of the hospital. She can't remember how many times this cold bed has been reluctantly attached to her extremely miserable life. She is 39 years old this year, more than half of her life has been spent in a hospital bed...Ms. Phuong suffered from spinal cord hemangioma - a rare disease in Vietnam. After many serious illnesses, the 39-year-old woman weighed less than 27 kg, as thin as a leaf, and spent more than half of her life in a hospital bed. After countless life-threatening surgeries over the past 24 years, her small, thin body became more and more exhausted, and her legs were permanently unable to walk.
When talking about Ms. Phuong's life, everyone cannot help but admire the fairy tale love story of her husband and wife, and because the source of her desire for life also originated from here. Mr. Truong Van Chin was from Tien Giang, met and fell in love with her when they both worked in an industrial park in the South. Despite the objections of family and friends; despite Ms. Phuong's rejection, he still insisted on going to Nghe An to find her and persuade her to agree to marry him. For the past 18 years, he has always loved, cared for and accompanied her in fighting the disease. And until now, they have a handsome 12-year-old son.

"The desire to live a full life
Walking peacefully in the vast world
Like a fish swimming in the river
Like birds flying among green rice fields...".
