Warning from September 7-9, new flood appears from Thanh Hoa to Quang Binh

Due to the influence of cold air compressing the low pressure trough, from tonight (September 6) to tomorrow morning, in the mountainous and midland areas of the North, there will be showers and thunderstorms. From tomorrow afternoon and night (September 7), in the North, the provinces from Thanh Hoa to Quang Binh will have moderate rain, heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain (common rainfall 50-100mm/24 hours).

Warning,From September 7-9, in the North, the provinces from Thanh Hoa to Quang Binh will experience a flood, the flood amplitude on the upstream of the Northern rivers will be from 1-3m; the upstream of the rivers from Thanh Hoa to Quang Binh will be from 3-6m, downstream from 2-4m. During this flood, the flood peak of Thao River is likely to reach level BĐ1; the flood peak in the upstream of the rivers from Thanh Hoa to Quang Binh will reach level BĐ1-BĐ2, the downstream of the rivers will be at level BĐ1 and below BĐ1.
