Police surround billion-dollar casino in wedding restaurant

On July 28, Thu Dau Mot City Police (Binh Duong) announced that they had just dismantled a large gambling den at a wedding restaurant, arrested 38 people and seized nearly 2 billion VND and 8,400 USD.

According to initial information from the police, on the evening of July 27, many detectives from the Criminal Police Team of Thu Dau Mot City suddenly raided a wedding restaurant in Phu Loi Ward (Thu Dau Mot City) and caught dozens of people gambling in the first hall of the restaurant.

At the scene, police arrested 38 people, seized nearly 2 billion VND in cash and 8,400 USD along with many exhibits related to gambling.
Police said this casino operates in an organized, large-scale manner, with careful guards and is fully equipped with food and drinks for gamblers to gamble day and night.
