Police used a truck to stop a car carrying a sack of weapons

To stop a 7-seat car carrying a sack containing homemade bayonets and machetes from Binh Duong passing through the area, Dong Nai police had to ask a truck to block the road at the toll station.

At around 5:30 a.m. on March 16, the Bien Hoa City Traffic Police (Dong Nai) were patrolling when they discovered a 7-seat car with unusual signs traveling from Binh Duong, so they signaled for an inspection. However, the car suddenly accelerated towards Hoa An Bridge, Bien Hoa.

After a 2km chase, to stop the car, the police had to ask a truck to park across the road at the Hoa An toll station. With nowhere else to run, the car was forced to stop, but the driver and two young men refused to open the door as ordered and instead barricaded themselves in the car for about 10 minutes.

Police were then called to the scene to assist and take the car to the police station. Upon a quick inspection, authorities discovered a series of homemade bayonets and machetes in the car, all contained in black bags.
