Nghe An traffic police discovered 88 cases of alcohol concentration violations on the evening of April 5.
This is the data from the first day of implementing the plan to ensure traffic safety on the occasion of Hung Kings' Commemoration Day, to serve the travel needs of the people, at the same time, strengthen control and prevent traffic accident risks during the peak festival period.

The results compiled by the Traffic Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police, showed that on the evening of April 5, the department simultaneously deployed the activities of 19 Teams 373 in districts and towns across the province, with the participation of 271 officers and soldiers. At the same time, 15 working groups coordinating between teams, stations, and traffic police groups in districts, cities, and towns under the Traffic Police Department and the police of communes, wards, and towns were also mobilized, with 355 officers and soldiers participating.
Through that, 117 cases of violations of traffic order and safety were detected. Of which: 88 cases of alcohol concentration violations, 3 cases of driving under the influence of drugs; 36 cases of not having a driver's license and vehicle registration; 44 cases of not wearing a helmet; 8 cases of not having a license plate... Temporarily detained 13 cars, 46 motorbikes.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Nam Hong - Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police, in order to ensure order and traffic safety and serve the safe and convenient travel needs of people during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day in 2025, the provincial Traffic Police force has deployed a comprehensive plan, under the direction of the leaders of the Provincial Police and the Traffic Police Department.
Team 373 has closely coordinated with traffic police teams, stations, and groups in districts, cities, towns, and commune, ward, and town police to simultaneously launch patrols and control tasks. The goal is to strictly handle traffic violations, especially focusing on checking and handling violations related to alcohol concentration.

The working groups simultaneously deployed to inspect all routes across the province. In particular, the force proactively changed the time frame and location of inspections continuously, to prevent subjects from taking advantage of understanding the working group's operating rules to evade control.
