Police opened fire to arrest medical staff for buying and selling half a kilo of crystal meth
(Baonghean.vn) - Discovering Tu Ly carrying drugs, crossing the forest from Laos to the border area of Phuc Son commune, Anh Son district (Nghe An) to trade drugs, the police force fired a series of warning shots into the air and arrested Ly along with 5kg of crystal meth.
Criminal Investigation Police Departmentdrug(Nghe An Police), through professional work, discovered a drug trafficking and transportation ring with a large quantity of drugs from Laos to Nghe An. The ringleader of this ring is Tu Ly (born in 1987), residing in Lac Xao village, Kham Cot district, Bolykhamxay province, Laos.
It is worth mentioning that Ly used to beinternational students in Vietnam, is currently a medical officer in Kham Cot district. Subject Tu Ly has lived and studied in Vietnam for a period of time, so he is very knowledgeable about the language and terrain, so his activities are very sophisticated and cunning.

In order to quickly arrest Tu Ly, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department established a special project to fight and eradicate this dangerous criminal ring. On October 25, 2020, the special project team received information that Tu Ly would transport a large quantity of drugs from Laos to the Veu 1 area, Phuc Son commune, Anh Son district. This is a border area, mainly rugged mountains, and at that time it was raining a lot, so reconnaissance work encountered many difficulties.
As predicted, at around 9:30 p.m. the same day (October 25), the scouts discovered 3 subjects walking through the forest carrying a bag. Realizing that the opportunity had come, along with a series of AK rifles aimed into the air to threaten the subjects, the task force rushed out from many directions in the forest, controlled and captured the subjects.

At the scene, Tu Ly was caught red-handed with 5kg of crystal meth, the other two subjects took advantage of the difficult terrain to quickly escape.
Currently, Nghe An police are concentrating forces to continue to capture the remaining subjects.
