Fire police need to soon apply some high-level public services

(Baonghean.vn) - That is the proposal of the Interdisciplinary Delegation to inspect the administrative reform work of the province for the Fire Police of Nghe An province.

The report to the Inspection Team of the Fire Police shows that administrative reform (AR) work has been led with attention by the Party Committee and leaders of the Fire Police.

Outstanding results in 2016, in the assessment and classification of the administrative reform index, Nghe An Fire Police was ranked 6th out of 20 units nationwide by the Ministry of Public Security. In terms of implementing the mechanism, the one-stop mechanism; modernizing the administrative system, it ranked 1st out of 20, in the field of administrative procedure reform, it ranked 2nd out of 20 fire police units nationwide, and was recognized, highly appreciated and commended by the Ministry of Public Security for its good performance in administrative reform.

To facilitate people and businesses, the unit has effectively implemented the review and simplification of administrative procedures, shortening the processing time. In particular, some administrative procedures have shortened the processing time such as: Procedures for granting licenses for transporting flammable and explosive substances and goods have been shortened from 10 days to 3 days.

Procedures for granting certificates of fire safety design approval shorten the licensing time from 10 days to 7 days for basic fire safety design approval of group A projects. Shorten the licensing time for construction site approval from 5 days to 3 days,...

In addition, the unit fully and seriously implements the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security on recruitment, use, management, promotion, appointment, and rotation of officers and soldiers. Policies for officers and soldiers are fully and promptly implemented.

Acknowledging and appreciating the administrative reform results of the Fire Police, Mr. Le Dinh Ly - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs proposed that the Fire Police Party Committee issue a specialized Resolution specifically for the administrative reform of the Party Committee, enhancing the leadership role of the Party and more drastic direction in the field of administrative reform.

Step up the review of administrative procedures under the authority to resolve, continue to study the process of proposing to simplify administrative procedures, shorten the time to resolve administrative procedures at the Provincial Fire Police Department and affiliated departments and units.

At the same time, research and develop a number of high-level public services (level 3 and level 4) to serve people, organizations and businesses. Coordinate and implement the one-stop and one-stop mechanism in the investment sector according to the regulations of the Provincial People's Committee.

Strengthen inspection and supervision of the performance of professional duties of officers and soldiers in conjunction with the implementation of Directive 26 of the Prime Minister and Directive 17 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on strengthening discipline and administrative order. Continue to develop and apply the quality management system according to ISO 9001: 2008 standards as prescribed. Publicize the hotline number to receive feedback and recommendations from citizens and organizations.
