Providing 7 tons of corn seeds to Ky Son people affected by drought
(Baonghean.vn) - To help people reproduce the corn area that died due to drought, on July 23, Ky Son district (Nghe An) organized the provision of hybrid corn seeds to people affected by drought.
The prolonged heat and drought in late May and early June killed many areas of crops and more than 6,500 hectares of corn of Ky Son people.

Ky Son district is actively distributing and transporting more than 7,048 kg of corn seeds to people in 16 communes that suffered crop losses due to drought at the beginning of the last crop season. The corn seeds provided to the communes this time are LVN 10 hybrid corn, invested by the People's Committee of Ky Son district, with a total capital of over 514 million VND. This amount of corn seeds will help people reproduce the areas that died due to previous planting.
To speed up the distribution of the above corn seeds, the People's Committee of Ky Son district supports all transportation costs to the centers of the communes that are provided with corn seeds.
