Drug trafficking couple use pepper spray to fight back against police

The Dien Chau Police Department's Social Order Investigation Team has broken up Project 116M, arresting a case of trafficking 136 grams of various types of drugs.

The seized exhibits included 136g of various types.

On the afternoon of January 25, at Dien Thanh beach area, the police force arrested two subjects, Cao Van Thanh, residing in Dien Loc commune, Dien Chau district, and Ho Manh Cuong in Truong Thi ward, Vinh city. When arrested, the subjects used pepper spray to fight back against the police force, but were still controlled by the force.

During the search, 136 grams of various drugs including crystal meth and 245 ecstasy tablets, 5 sets of crystal meth tools, 8 knives, swords and 15 mobile phones were seized.

The subject confessed to transporting drugs from Vinh city to Dien Chau, renting 3 places at the same time to sell retail to partygoers in the district. The case is still under further investigation.
