SLNA fans receive great news before the 2017 National Super Cup
(Baonghean.vn) - Today (February 7), the official information about the 2017 National Super Cup match was announced by the Organizing Committee. The two teams participating in the Super Cup match are the reigning V.League champion Quang Nam and the National Cup champion - Song Lam Nghe An.
This match will be held at 4:00 p.m. on February 24 (the 9th day of Tet) at Hang Day Stadium. With the desire to serve a large number of fans, the Organizing Committee has decided to open the stadium for free to attract spectators. This information will certainly make Nghe An fans in the Hanoi area extremely happy, especially the student team.
It is known that right after the Lunar New Year ends, the SLNA Fan Club will plan to dye Hang Day Stadium yellow to cheer for their hometown team.

The National Super Cup is also a confrontation between the 2017 Vietnam Golden Ball – Dinh Thanh Trung and two young stars of U23 Vietnam on SLNA’s side, Phan Van Duc and Pham Xuan Manh.
Speaking about this match, Coach Nguyen Duc Thang of Song Lam Nghe An shared: "When I was a player, I participated in the Vietnam Super Cup so I am very proud. In this preparation, Song Lam Nghe An or Quang Nam certainly have the goal of winning, but I believe luck will be on our side."

According to the rules, the two teams will play for 90 minutes, if the match is a draw, a penalty shootout will be held to determine the winner of the Super Cup. Each team is allowed to use 2 foreign players and 1 naturalized player on the field. The winning team will receive a trophy, a plaque, medals and a prize of 300 million VND; the losing team will receive 220 million VND.
The tournament organizers also awarded prizes to the player who scored the first goal (10 million VND) and the best player of the match (10 million VND). The organizers said they will assign a FIFA-level referee from Vietnam to officiate./.
