Regulating adventure tourism after deaths of three British tourists
After three British tourists died while on a jungle tour in Da Lat, the General Department of Tourism has requested to improve safety and security for adventure tourism.
Yesterday, after the accident of 3 British tourists at Dalanta tourist area (Da Lat), the General Department of Tourism requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong to resolve the situation and rectify the work of ensuring security and safety for tourists at the amusement park.

According to the General Department, initial information shows signs of serious violations by both the business and the tour guide. The General Department requested the revocation of the international travel business license ofThe company that sold the tickets to these three tourists is Dam Me, and the tour guide is Dang Van Sy.
Speaking to VnExpress, Mr. Mai Viet Dang, Chief Inspector of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province, said that he had suspended the operations of Dam Me tourism company and found many violations in the company's management activities.
Mr. Dang also said that the police are taking statements from Dang Van Sy, the tour guide who took the three tourists to visit Datanla waterfall.
Earlier, on the morning of February 26, three British tourists, two women and one man, booked an adventure tour at Dalanta Waterfall. While participating in a hiking tour in the forest, the three guests suddenly slipped and fell while bathing at the waterfall. That afternoon, the three bodies were found and taken to Ho Chi Minh City for preservation.The victims were between the ages of 19 and 25.
British Ambassador Gille Lever visited the site where the three tourists died on February 27 to monitor the situation.
