Electrical short circuit, a house caught fire at night

(Baonghean.vn) - The fire was so intense that dozens of villagers worked together to put it out overnight. According to the homeowner, the initial cause of the fire was an electrical short circuit.

At 7:20 p.m. on July 18, in hamlet 2, Lien Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district (Nghe An), a fire broke out in the house of Mrs. Phan Thi Hoa's family.

The fire started from the roof, due to the hot weather, the fire spread quickly to the entire tiled roof and blazed fiercely.

When the fire was discovered, Ms. Hoa's family called everyone in the neighborhood to come to the rescue. The circuit breaker was turned off, and the neighbors used tools such as buckets and basins to pour water on the fire inside the house and on the roof.

Upon receiving the fire alarm, Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team No. 5 dispatched 2 fire trucks and over 10 officers and soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene.

Due to the distance traveled over 20 km, when arriving at the scene, the fire was basically under control. Firefighters continued to spray water to completely extinguish the fire.

At the scene, the roof of the house was burned down, tiles fell and shattered all over the floor and outside on the village road next to the house.

The initial cause of the fire was said by Mrs. Hoa - the homeowner - to be an electrical short circuit. The family has not yet been able to estimate the damage.
