The quality of marine water environment in Nghe An is within the permissible limits.
(Baonghean.vn) - The Department of Natural Resources and Environment has just issued Official Dispatch No. 2670/STNMT-MT/2019 announcing the results of monitoring the quality of seawater environment at 4 beaches: Quynh Phuong, Dien Thanh, Cua Lo and Cua Hoi.

Carrying out the tasks assigned by the Provincial People's Committee and implementing the program of monitoring and supervising seawater quality during the tourist season under the Environmental Monitoring Program of Nghe An province in 2019, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment has had the results of the 5th phase of seawater quality monitoring (week 2 of May) as follows:
4 beaches of Quynh Phuong, Dien Thanh, Cua Lo and Cua Hoi: 13 monitoring parameters including temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), turbidity, salinity, suspended solids (TSS), Ammonium (NH4+), Phosphate (PO43-), Cyanide (CN-), Arsenic (As), Manganese (Mn), Iron (Fe), Coliforms meet the permissible limits of the National Technical Regulation on coastal seawater for bathing and water sports areas (QCVN 10-MT:2015/BTNMT).

In particular, the total suspended solids (TSS) content exceeded the standard (TSS exceeded 1.34 times at Quynh Phuong beach; 1.38 times at Dien Thanh beach and 1.04 times at Cua Lo beach).
