Grocery store fire while owner away

(Baonghean.vn)- A large grocery store in Quynh Luu was recently visited by fire, causing tens of millions of dong in damage.

At about 8:05 a.m. on October 5, a fire broke out at Huong Mai grocery store, block 9, Cau Giat town, Quynh Luu district, owned by Ms. Trinh Thi Huong.

At that time, the homeowner and surrounding residents discovered smoke and a burning smell coming from the second floor of the house, so they called for everyone to put out the fire.

The fire quickly spread to the Lioa machines, the air conditioner's condenser, the camera lens and some other items. The on-site fire brigade promptly used fire extinguishers and water to put out the fire, preventing it from spreading to other areas.

It is known that this is a large grocery store, containing many flammable goods, fortunately the fire was controlled in time.

At the scene, the house's walls and ceiling were charred black, and furniture was burned. Authorities are assessing the damage and investigating the cause of the fire.
