Identities of 6 victims killed when truck crashed into grocery store in Ky Son
Regarding the truck accident that crashed into a house, killing 6 people in Ky Son district, the victims were identified as 2 adults and 4 children.


Specifically, the 5 victims who died at the scene were: Va Thiem Phuc (born 2018), Va Xuan Denh (born 2016), Vu Y Do (born 2005), Va Y Mai (born 2014), and Va Y Du (born 2023).

In addition, the injured victim Le Thi Khiem (born in 1965) was taken to the emergency room but died later.

Previously, Nghe An Newspaper reported that the tragic accident occurred at around 5:00 p.m. on January 12, in Nam Can Commune, Ky Son District, when a truck plunged down a slope and crashed head-on into a family’s grocery store. According to initial information, at the time of the accident, the victims were standing in the grocery store, which is located next to Provincial Road 543D.
The small truck was collecting dong leaves when it lost control and crashed down the slope, hitting a group of people present. As a result, the accident claimed the lives of 6 people, including the son, mother, sister-in-law of the homeowner and 3 children, including 2 first graders and 1 child not yet old enough to go to school. Of the victims, 5 died on the spot, and one victim was taken to the emergency room but did not survive.
Immediately after the accident, authorities were present at the scene to conduct an investigation and determine the cause of the incident.
The truck driver, identified as Vu Van Hao (born in 1982, residing in Luu Kien commune, Tuong Duong district, Nghe An), has been detained for investigation.
