Horrific fire in Russia, 8 firefighters died
Firefighters were on the roof of the building battling a fire when it collapsed.
ReutersOn September 23, citing a source from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations spokesman, at least eight firefighters died while participating in extinguishing a large fire in the East of Moscow.
The bodies of the firefighters were found in the rubble of the fire, a spokesman for the Russian Emergencies Ministry said. The ministry said the eight firefighters were on the roof of the building when it collapsed.
According to local media, the fire broke out in a large warehouse containing plastic materials on the evening of September 22 (local time)./.
